 SERVICE PLUS Conferences - is one of several methods to "popularize modern forms of providing services" – said Yelena Chernysheva, Chairman of Commodity Market Committee evaluating this event, which took place in Yekaterinburg on April 27th.
Out of 860 product stores in Yekaterinburg 387 have been already using progressive forms of trading, such as: bar-coding, automation of accounting systems and self-service.
The most difficult problems were faced by the Committee during the introduction of automated trading methods in auto parts stores: at present only 56 enterprises out of 100 have managed to apply the new technology. But the Committee is sure, that in the nearest future all other enterprises will also introduce and manage to apply new forms of trading. According to City Administration Management suggestion SERVICE PLUS company, a larger supplier of IT-equipment and software in the country, can much contribute to such introduction. The suggestion was proved during the presentations and master classes organized in Yekaterinburg within the framework of the conference “New trading technologies”.
As for the Food Marketing sector “the year 2006 – is a year, when the program for application of self-servicing and bar code technology in shops of Yekaterinburg will be completed" - said Yelena Chernysheva at the Conference.
Finally, Elena Chernysheva made a summary: "Nowadays we don’t need to convince entrepreneurs of the necessity to make such a step, as it has been before - they had an opportunity to estimate possibility of using automated trading systems themselves. Most enterprises have already made such a step. This conference – is one of the ways to popularize modern forms of providing services in public catering enterprises of Yekaterinburg.
